Workshop #3: Song Interpretation & Acting Through Music Monday, March 2 from 6:00pm-8:30pm Led by Karen Benjamin Chapman Welcome Karen, who was in the original LA cast of Phantom of the Opera starring Michael Crawford. In addition to many musical theatre credits she's also performed with her husband, KUSC radio host, Alan Chapman, at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center among other venues. For several years she was teaching musical theatre workshops and directing the school musicals at Pasadena City College and Santa Monica College. She continues to have an active private voice studio in Los Angeles. In addition Karen and Alan and their two grown kids, Jake and Molly, have a family band called The Von Chaps who performed a concert tour in China in 2019. In this workshop, you will choose from a selection of songs & receive personalized feedback.
