We have a full production team that handles most major aspects of the show.  However, participants' families are asked to assist with one area of production. These include items like ticketing, supervision, make-up, clean-up and set building.  There is something for everyone's time availability, whether large or small!

Our rehearsal facility is the Westchester Townhouse, located at 8501 Emerson Avenue.  We have recently performed at the Westchester High Auditorium in Westchester, a beautiful, professional style theater with a full-size stage and seating for 800.

After auditions, we will have a 3-day a week rehearsal schedule, practicing on Mondays and Thursdays for two hours in the evenings, and selected Saturday mornings.  There are some times when chorus cast members will only need to attend one rehearsal a week, but during the month before a show, all must attend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely not!  Our production team has worked with many performers who had never acted or sung on stage before.  Most found they loved the experience and came back again!

Do you need to have prior stage experience to audition?

What is the time commitment like for participants?

Where will the rehearsals and performances be held?

What parent/guardian commitment is expected?

We provide an enriching, positive and quality experience for all our participants, but still enable them to stay involved in other activities or have time for academics (our Director is also a seventh grade teacher!).  Often, schools aren't able to provide a performing arts program for their students, and many of those that do, particularly high schools, require an extensive time commitment.  Our team has enjoyed success producing high quality shows with very reasonable rehearsal schedules, based in our local area, and we want to extend that opportunity to the young people in our community who are interested in performing on stage.
